The Roommates Fall 2024

BRIEF: 

Create merchandise for the kickball team The Roommates: a community-oriented team focused on creating safe spaces for sapphics in the DMV to make new connections and give back.

SOLUTION: 

The idea centers around the home plate of a kickball field and the idea that the team not only wants to score runs in games but provide members of the LGBTQ+ community with a home base. Turning a home plate into a heart and then inverting it to become a home for The Roommates to reside in. When paired with the custom logotype and lockup this idea becomes a pattern to be displayed on jerseys and on the Fall 2024 season’s merchandise.
