Deconstruction Typography

BRIEF

Deconstruct Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” and present it in a black/white, typography only form.

SOLUTION

By using overlapping phrases and words, I created a visualization of the narrator’s conflicting sane mind (white text on black) and insane mind (black text on white). The contrasting black and white areas create textures which fight each other until the end of the story when both the narrator and the book descend into madness.
